2 of the 4 more places that are associated with London Eye are London Dungeon and Madame Tussauds and one fine day I set of to both these places.

My first stop was ofcourse Madame Tussauds. The first section of Madame Tussauds begins with cinema celebrities, incl a separate section for Bollywood incl Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachan etc. Sadly none of them bore a good resemblance of them! However the latest of Indians - our Indian PM Narendra Modi bore an excellant resemblance!![]()
The next section was the Party section filled with KimK, Branjolina, Victoria & David Beckham, George Clooney, Morgan Freeman etc. Most of them were spot on esp Morgan Freeman, Kim K and George Clooney!!! Next was the Fashion Week section with the ramp show and showbiz lights striking on the guest with flex printed crowd on either sides! It was ok, though not great! Next was a section where movie characters come alive, unlike the celebs who were in their real life, this was the movie characters themselves incl ET, Audrey Hepburn, Terminator etc. ![]()
In the floor below, the first one there was Sachin Tendulkar in the Sports section along with Usain Bolt, Md. Ali etc. I expected Nadia Comaneci, but she wasn't there! The next section was the Culture section with Stephan Hawking, Van Gogh, Einstein etc.

But the best part here was Henry VIII with Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary. To imagine that they sculpted this out of Holbein painting and no 3D reference at all, is just mind blowing!![]()

Opposite to this was the entire Royal Family (No, the royal kids aren't yet there!). There's also Princess Diana nearby. Next was the Music section with the maximum number of sculptures from Beatles to Micheal Jackson to Amy Winehouse to Miley Cyrus to Rihanna and many more!

The other section was of World Leaders incl David Cameroon, Gandhiji, Modi, Nelson Mandela, Dalai Lama, Obama and many more.![]()
In the next floor was the sculpture making process with every step right from measurement to mould making to skeleton making to final painting and hair colors! Loved this section!!!![]()
My next stop was London Dungeon. This is an adventure ride and drama and light & sound effects put together in one and it lasts about 1.5 hrs!!! If you know atleast a bit about London's history, this is all the more interesting and you'll relate to it a bit more. If not, its a super thrilling ride & drama as it is!
Next was the very interesting 4D Marvel Experience. I already had a high expectation after London Eye and this one met my expectations and more! This one had all the superheroes incl Wolverine and whenever he brought out his nails, there was a bump on the seat back rest!!! After this, my expectation of the Star Wars Experience was sky rocketing which it did not meet. It was regular wax statues of various star war characters. Further ahead was the Spirit of London ride which was a small train ride with talks from the history to the present London. But compared to London Dungeon, this wasn't so spectacular!
Glad that I watched The Tudors, I know a bit about Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn and the torture punishments of the era! This show begins exactly with it! It begins with a descent (was it an actual lift or were we still with the ground beneath shaken up and sfx in windows!)??!!! The door opens to a place where typical Henry VIII style of tortures and executions were in display with actors explaining it all in the scariest way possible making the visitors, the traitors! This is followed by a boat ride (scary as well and infested with rats) depicting Thames through the Traitor's Gate into the Tower of London!
Next was a mirror maze through which you have to manage and reach a pub set in 1800s. The lanterns here move by themselves and suddenly as the light goes off the shelves get knocked over as Jack the Ripper, the serial killer arrives! From there, for being guilty all along the punishment in 1700s is being hung which is kinda(!) demonstrated! Finally at the Drop-Dead ride, the free fall is just exhilarating!!!
Honestly, I did not think it would be this good!!! I expected a childish adventure ride, but I was wrong. The effects, acting was all so good that it just looks like a adventure ride and not like history classes!!!
